This week's tips
This week, see if you can manage the first two steps of the course: Top ten words and Getting breakfast. In these units you'll learn the basic greetings and some key words such as per favore, please, and caffè, coffee.
Italian pronunciation is quite straightforward, you'll become familiar with it by going over the slideshows a few times. In How to pronounce Italian you'll find some basics rules, while the key words will help you get used to the sound of individual Italian words. Do take every opportunity to repeat what you hear. The computer won't laugh!
